Message by National Secretary Ta'lim:
I am glad to note that you have been appointed the Sec. Taleem in your Jamaat. May Allah give us all the honor of working for the Jamaat in the best possible manner.
I am told that at present there is no National Taleem syllabus. The emphasis of this department, in the light of the Khutba of December 5, 2003, is on the secular education of the members.
Once I have the directive from Ameer sahib, I will be able to guide you better but for now I would like to suggest that you focus on 2 areas to get started.
#1 Help members of all ages memorize salat and its meaning as top priority and encourage them to memorize and recite the prayers for the Khilafat centenary as defined by Hazoor atba.
#2 Arrange a special meeting to recognize and encourage students who have obtained A grade in any subject in any grade. Also recognize the members who have completed the milestones in schooling like elementary, middle school etc. Ask the students who have scored A's to speak at the occasion to inspire other students and help them establish relationship with junior students to help them in studies etc. Please make a list of students in your Jamaat who have completed these milestones. Such meetings should be to celebrate the achievements of students and be done this summer and then each summer after that.
JazakAllah, remember me in your prayers and I will remember you. InshaAllah
Khalil Malik
National Secretary Ta’lim
